I firmly believe that force, fear and punishment have no place in ethical dog training. Science supports what we feel in our hearts – that dogs deserve our respect, our kindness and our empathy. I also believe this goes beyond training and into everyday life, that our whole lives with dogs should be based on mutual respect and kindness.
That is why I created the Kindness for Canines promise – something other brands and businesses can use to show that they are committed to kind, ethical and force free training.
But what does it mean for Woof by Hollie?

What does Kindness for Canines mean for Woof by Hollie?
1 – I practice kind and ethical dog training and handling in my everyday life, with my two dogs, Lyra and Lottie.
2 – I won’t ever promote or feature ecollars, prong collars, or aversive training methods in my designs or content.
3 – Woof by Hollie affiliates are asked to share this commitment and these values.
4 – I aim to only work with professionals and businesses who also share these values.
5 – I make donations to charities and organisations who share these values. We are currently donating to Spaniel Rescue Foundation.
6 – The products and designs I make are always intended to represent ethical dog training – this is how my advocacy range was created.
7 – I advocate for important dog welfare issues, like ending Greyhound racing. You can find some more about this in my Ethics and Values policy.
Anyone is welcome to buy from Woof by Hollie, whether you align with these values or not. But I do ask you to respect our Kindness for Canines promise – it is the foundation for everything I do at Woof by Hollie, and more than just a training method.
